ALIA Biennial 2012

The ALIA Biennial Conference is the flagship conference for the peak association of the library industry in Australia and is considered a focal event in the profession’s calendar. The ‘ALIA Biennial Conference’ has been held since 1990; however the ALIA Conference, in one form or another, has been held since the 1950s.

ALIA Biennial attracts over 600 professionals from almost all sectors of the library industry. The Conference program has a multi-sector focus and often includes streams from specific sectors of the library and information profession. The Conference provides a unique opportunity for organisations to promote and showcase their products and services to a targeted and influential delegate group. It is one of the few opportunities that organisations have to access key library and information service professionals, directors and decision-makers from Australia, New Zealand, the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
