
The iGroup Southeast Asia User Group Meeting 2026 will convene this May in Hanoi, Vietnam, to address the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on the information and academic sectors. Under the theme “Future-Ready Skills for Responsible AI,” the conference provides a critical forum for exploring the ethical, technical, and professional shifts required in the modern information landscape.
The two-day program is designed to bridge global theoretical frameworks with local practical applications:

Day 1 (May 7) | Meliá Hanoi Hotel: A comprehensive plenary session featuring international speakers. Discussions will center on the pillars of AI ethics, transparency, and the evolving accountability of libraries in an automated era.

Day 2 (May 8) | National Economics University (NEU): A transition to practical implementation, featuring a guided tour of the NEU Library and the AIKiP Station. This is followed by the hands-on workshop, “Navigating the AI Revolution: Opportunities and Challenges for Librarians.”
